With the completion of the new ruegen bridge in October 2007 one of the longest bridges
was taken in German history in enterprise.
With a passage height of 48 meters for ships and an overall length of over 4 km the bridge is an enormous feature.
Immediately cities are many more briskly attainable such as Binz, Sellin or Bergen than so far.
In addition, jobs with the completion production by new trade places at the federal highway to be built to be supposed. Also the port Sassnitz will become now also for ships from Scandinavia,
St.Petersburg or the Baltic the central approach place.

First New Year’s Eve after many years with guests at the bakenberg.
It was for all a completely special highlight.
After many years we celebrated for the first time again together with guests in the new year inside.
In the future we would like to continue the course and even greater New Year's Eve parties.
We would be pleased if we get lots of inquiries.
We offer great music and beautiful ambience and tasty food from the buffet and grill in our
newly designed Club room here in our holiday resort Waldeck on the island of Ruegen.
As you can see the pictures there was plenty of atmosphere and our young guests, it also really liked.
To change into the new year, we have all guests with champagne initiated and hot mulled wine drunk.
It was a great successful year.
